  • The Coffee House-Restaurant of Sofya Petrovna Kuvshinnikova is an establishment located in two historic buildings that once served as the tea house of the Plyos Temperance Society and a state wine shop. According to legend, the coffee house was founded by Sofya Petrovna herself, a student and friend of the famous artist Isaac Levitan. This place is imbued with the atmosphere of old Plyos, with exquisite interiors and excellent cuisine.

    The coffee house has five halls, among which the White and Red halls stand out. The White Hall impresses with its elegance and light decor, while the Red Hall attracts with its colorful design and cozy atmosphere. Both halls are perfect for leisurely time over a cup of cappuccino or a glass of champagne, accompanied by signature desserts and pies.

    The culinary masterpieces of the coffee house are prepared in its own pastry shop located on the Trading Square in Plyos. The menu features a variety of desserts and pies:

    1. Tender cottage cheese kuleika, which is the "answer" to cheesecake.
    2. Rustic creamy sugar.
    3. Bird cherry cake.
    4. Rum cake.
    5. Poppy-caramel éclairs.
    6. Shalyapin pie with liver.

We were on a river cruise in May 2025. Really liked the menu. Especially the rum cake by Sofia Petrovna. We brought it to Voronezh as a gift. Is it possible to buy this cake with delivery?
