Plyos
Plyos (historically Pleso) is a town on the banks of the Volga River and the administrative center of the Plyos urban settlement in the Privolzhsky District of Ivanovo Region. It is included in the list of historic towns of federal significance. Plyos is considered the most popular tourist destination in the region and is among the four most visited small towns in Russia. In 2017, it ranked first in the country by the number of tourists per resident. The population is 1,896 people.
