Distance Kineshma — Plyos
The distance from Kineshma to Plyos by road is 91 km, and in a straight line - 38 km. The estimated travel time between the cities of Kineshma and Plyos by car is 1 hour and 19 minutes.
Where is Plyos
Plyos is a small town in the Ivanovo region of Russia. It is located on the right bank of the Volga River, 70 kilometers northeast of the city of Ivanovo.
By car
The distance from Kineshma to Plyos is 90 kilometers. A good road will be available throughout the entire route. The trip duration is about one and a half hours.
Head towards the city of Ivanovo. Three kilometers after the roundabout near the city of Vichuga, turn right towards the city of Privolzhsk. From Privolzhsk, turn onto the road to Plyos.
Keep in mind that during the tourist season, car traffic is restricted in the historical part of Plyos. There is a checkpoint with a barrier at the main entrance, and other entrances are blocked. Most likely, you will have to leave your car at one of the parking lots (some are paid) and walk to the Volga. We wrote more about this on the page how to get to Plyos by car.
By bus
There is no direct bus service between Kineshma and Plyos. The only option is to transfer in the city of Ivanovo. The trip with a transfer in Ivanovo will take about 4 hours. The cost of the trip starts from 600 rubles per person.
On the riverboat
Regular routes on the Volga between the cities of Plyos and Kineshma with intermediate stops in Navoloki and Semigorye. The passenger ship “Mayak-2” with a capacity of 60 people operates these routes.
Departure from Kineshma on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from the river station at 9:00. Arrival in Plyos at 12:00. Departure from Plyos back to Kineshma at 15:00 and arrival at 18:00. One-way ticket price is 800 rubles.
