An embodiment of harmony between historical charm and modern luxury, located in the heart of Plyos, a picturesque town on the banks of the Volga. The hotel building, designed in the spirit of 19th-century Russian estates, elegantly blends into the surrounding landscape, creating an atmosphere where time seems to slow down.
The hotel's architecture attracts attention with its authentic stylization of antiquity. Every element of the building — from the carved window frames to the intricate finials on the drainpipes — meticulously reproduces the appearance of merchant mansions that once adorned Plyos. This effect is achieved through the use of authentic materials and technologies employed over a century ago. Specialists working on the project selected details inspired by preserved samples of merchant architecture, giving the house its unique character.
The hotel's history began with the idea of preserving and conveying the spirit of past eras. Its interior, recreating the atmosphere of noble and merchant estates, reflects the sophistication and richness of Russian culture. Antique furniture, acquired from around the world, and custom-made interior items become not just part of the decor but living witnesses of history. French eclecticism of the late 19th century, stylized to resemble the appearance of merchant houses of the Silver Age, sets the tone in every corner of the hotel. Massive buffets and cabinets, Empire-style chairs and baroque tables harmoniously blend with vintage tableware and William Morris's botanical wallpaper patterns.
In the hotel's second mansion, which recently opened its doors, a luxurious walnut wood balustrade, brought from an old chateau in Normandy, stands out. Spacious rooms, where every detail of the interior is aimed at ensuring maximum comfort. The bathrooms are equipped with Burlington English plumbing, and the windows offer stunning views of the Volga.
