An Old Izba in the Heart of Plyos' Historic Center
The Plyos Izba is a century-old wooden log house located on the banks of the Volga in one of the most picturesque corners of Plyos — in Zarechye. The windows of the house offer breathtaking views of the Volga sunsets, and within a few minutes' walk are all the key attractions of the city: the Levitan and Landscape Museums, the "Dachnitsa" sculpture, as well as the best restaurants.
The interior of the izba is designed in a style that combines the traditions of the past with modern comfort. Here, old hooks, pots, and samovars harmoniously coexist with a microwave, electric kettle, and coffee machine. Carved window frames adorn the windows, and the beds are equipped with orthopedic mattresses. Special attention is drawn to the paintings by local Plyos artists, capturing the beauty of this provincial town.
But the main treasure of the house is a real Russian stove, which has been carefully restored and painted. It is located in the center of the living room, where there is also a cozy soft sofa and a carved wooden table surrounded by Viennese chairs.
The bedroom has two double beds, and the windows overlook an inner courtyard with an apple tree. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious breakfast or a light dinner: dishes, cutlery, a hob, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a capsule coffee machine.
