The art picnic in Plyos will allow you to feel like a true artist, so that the picturesque views of this city become not just inspiration for you, but also your own painting. Even if you have no experience in painting, under the guidance of experienced artists, you will be able to create your landscape inspired by the same views that inspired Levitan. The atmosphere of creativity is complemented by a buffet with a glass of champagne or fragrant herbal tea brewed in a samovar.

Paint-outs in picturesque locations

Each location has a unique history and atmosphere. Mount Levitan, from which Levitan painted his famous works “Quiet Abode” and “Above Eternal Rest,” Cathedral Mountain with a panoramic view of the city, the embankment where the coolness of the Volga and the shade of trees create ideal conditions for creativity, as well as the bank of the Shokhonka River, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Impressionism, — all these are places that inspire creativity.

In 2-3 hours of the paint-out, participants will learn many interesting stories about the stay of such celebrities as Isaac Levitan, Fyodor Shalyapin, and Vladimir Makovsky in Plyos. Additionally, there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the alla prima technique in oil painting, as well as fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of dacha tranquility and Russian provincial coziness.

Master classes from experienced artists

If there are fewer than 4 participants, the master class is conducted by the artist Alexey, who has been working in the technique of artistic realism for over 25 years and has created more than 3000 paintings. If there are more participants, his colleagues assist in conducting, ensuring an individual approach to each guest.

Throughout the master class, comfortable conditions are created: the possibility to choose the format of work — standing or sitting, the availability of aprons and shirts to protect clothing, and in cold or rainy weather, the sessions are held in the workshop. Finished works of art are carefully packed, making it easy and safe to transport them home.
