House with Columns
The estate of the noble Moiseev family, also known as the "House with Columns", is located on the banks of the Volga in Plyos. The two-story mansion was built in the 1820s in the neoclassical style and stands out among the historical buildings of the city with its architecture.
The main decoration of the facade is a portico with four Tuscan columns, a triangular pediment, and a semicircular balcony with an ornate wrought-iron railing. It is thanks to the columns that the mansion received its popular name. Today, the historical building houses the administration of the Plyos urban settlement.
