Water Recreation
Take a ride with your children on a calm tourist boat along the Volga, offering the most picturesque views of Plyos. Or choose a fast boat, which can be rented just for your family for 30 minutes or an hour. A trip along the Volga is an essential part of a visit to Plyos, and afterwards, you can head to the beach to swim and play.

Active Recreation
Plyos is a great place for active adventures with children. Rope courses, horseback riding, river cruises, hill climbs, and playground games will give kids bright emotions and energy for the whole day.

Creative Workshops for Children
Plyos is a city of artists, and even children can touch the beautiful here by participating in creative workshops. For young talents, there are painting and ceramic painting classes: under the guidance of experienced mentors, kids learn to paint Volga landscapes on canvas and favorite characters on ceramic plates, mugs, and tiles. Don't worry if your child has never held a brush — in a playful manner, they will be shown the basics, and in the end, each little participant will take home a self-painted work.

Art Exhibitions
Educational leisure in Plyos will also captivate children. The city regularly hosts art exhibitions — paintings, photographs, craft displays — that will interest both adults and schoolchildren. Many exhibitions are specifically aimed at family audiences, allowing everyone to engage with art in a light-hearted way.

Playgrounds for Children
In the upper part of the city, there is a modern park called “Verkhniy Prud”. Here, you can find well-maintained alleys, benches for relaxation, and beautiful views of the pond. The main attraction for parents is the modern children's and sports playgrounds, where kids can climb, swing, and play in the fresh air to their heart's content.
Besides the “Verkhniy Prud” park, there are playgrounds in other areas of Plyos as well — for example, near the “Chugunok” restaurant, located just outside the city. Here, there is not only an outdoor playground but also a children's area inside the establishment itself. The delicious food makes this place an excellent choice for a family lunch or dinner.

Cafés and Restaurants for Children
Plyos will delight little gourmets — there are cafes and restaurants with children's play areas, delicious dishes, and desserts. Each stop is not only tasty but also cozy.

Photo Quest
Strolling through the city itself can be turned into a fun game by organizing a photo quest with local sculptures. Plyos has many interesting monuments that children love to photograph with. For example, on the embankment, you'll find a monument to Fyodor Chaliapin — the great singer in bronze sits in a boat as if about to set sail. A little further along the shore, children are drawn to the touching sculpture of a cat named Mukha, sitting importantly and gazing at the river, as if waiting for fishermen with a fresh catch!
